howdy

I arrived from Austin late last night, swelling with Shiner Bock beer, brisket, and a bevy of indelible memories. I needed this vacay so much, you guys. I feel so relaxed that even my carpal tunnels syndrome is hardly noticeable. 

And what a wonderful time with my old college roommates. Even though we may not always see or talk to each other all the time, when we do get together it's as if no time has passed--much to the discontent of people in our vicinity who had to listen to us shriek with laughter as we reminisced about our college days.

Post coming soon about our trip details.  I'll let you know how we managed to enjoy Austin on a budget and the BEST dinner deal in town. :)
