We survived the Big Move of 2012! Sure the movers were 2.5 hours late and then showed up to the new apartment an hour late because they accidentally went to Fort Greene instead of Williamsburg (!!!), but either than that and the oppressive heat and the fact that it was also Del Close Marathon Weekend, it went off without a hitch!
I may have had one mental breakdown.
On Sunday, we celebrated our efforts by treating ourselves to a decadent brunch at Brooklyn Star and then the new Woody Allen movie, To Rome With Love. For dinner, I made steaks with garlic and parsley while P set up our study (he insists on calling it the Multi Purpose Room but don't be fooled, it's a study).
So far co-habitating hasn't been too different from independent habitation except I don't have to worry about going back to my apartment to get clean underwear and now I can have breakfast with P.
We've also been tackling some projects around the apartment and I think this weekend I'm gonna focus on my herb garden! I'll post about it here if yer interested.
